The Parc de l` Espanya Industrial was created in the 1980s on the site of a former textile mill. Designed by the Basque architect Luis Rena Granchegui, it has a large boating lake with a statue of Neptune in the middle. Tiers of steps on one side lead up to ten watchtowers which are illuminated at night. In this postmodern park, children enjoy playing on the metal play structure called St George and the Dragon.
