The attractive Parque de Ferrera is in the old part of Aviles. This pretty, walled park is the largest in the town and it has many footpaths as well as ornamented features and a bandstand. A stream runs through it and there is a fountain. The park was once the gardens for the counts of Ferrera. Nearby are many shops, bars and historic buildings.
