The gardens of the Parque de la Trinidad are near the Puerta de la Trinidad, a gate to the city which was built in 1680. Designed in 1950 by the landscape artist Antonio Juez, the gardens stretch from the Rampart of Trinidad to the Rampart of San Pedro. This lovely park has many pathways and leads to the hillside where stands the former alcazaba.
