Bauhaus architect Ludwig Mies Van der Rohes created this modern masterpiece of glass and marble for the 1929 exhibition. Although widely acknowleged as a classical building, it was demolished at the end of the exhibition. An exact replica has been reconstructed on the original location, and it was opened in 1988 on the centenary of the architect`s birth. Inside is a bronze sculpture called The Morning and the famous Barcelona chair.
