The Penon de Ifach is a dramatic, limestone crag dominating the bay of Calpe. It rises to about 1000 feet and a narrow path leads to the summit where you can enjoy stunning views. It passes through a tunnel made in the rock and along the way are miradors. More than three hundred species of wild flowers grow on the slopes, and birds that may be spotted include peregrine falcon, gannet and gulls. There is an information centre near the base of the rock.
