The Picos de Europa is a beautiful, limestone landscape with river gorges and craggy mountains. The area offers a range of walks from a few hours to treks taking several days. The park is great for birdwatching and you may spot vultures, choughs and wallcreepers. Chamois and wild boar frequent the park as well as the rarer bears and wolves. In spring many wild flowers cover the fields.
