The Pinar de Tamadaba is a pine forest covering the high slopes of the 4720 feet high peak Tamadaba. It is the largest Canarian pine forest on the island and it is home to many other plants, including rare flowers. The forest is a World Biosphere Reserve. From the summit are great views and it can be reached by a short walk on a path starting from the forest drive. A longer, more strenuous, walk starts from Artenara.
