Plaza de Espana is located in the centre of the old village of Benalmadena. Of special interest here is the lovely sculpture of `Nino de Benalmadena`. This work of a small girl holding a seashell forming a fountain is by Jaime Pimentel. Nearby is the attractive church known as Iglesia de Santa Domingo de Guzman which dates from the 17th Century.
