The town of Arcos de la Frontera stands in a dramatic position on top of a cliff. The old part of the town is a network of narrow streets with white buildings. If you climb up to the top of the hill you will reach Plaza del Cabildo where there is a mirador. One side of the square is above a precipice and offers extensive views of the River Guadalete`s meanders. In the square you will find the town hall and castle.
