The Plaza Mayor is the focal point of the charming, small town of Chinchon. Around the beautiful, irregular circular plaza are ancient three and four storied buildings with arched galleries and three tiers of wooden balconies. Many events have taken place in the square including festivals, executions and bullfights. Nearby is the 15th Century Clock Tower that was once part of the Church of Our Lady of Grace, a church which is no longer on the site.
