Port de la Selva is an attractive, small town of whitewashed houses set in an almost circular bay. The main beach of Platja Gran has been awarded the Blue Flag. Nearby is a promenade with cafes and beyond the fishing harbour is the pleasure boat marina. There are also several small pebble beaches set in attractive coves and to the west of the town is the headland Punta de S`Azenella, a favourite place for snorkelling.
