Premia de Dalt is an inland town on the Costa del Maresme. It lies below hills at an altitude of about 400 feet and all around are green pine woods. The town is a centre for the growing of plants and flowers and some of the farmhouses in the area are six hundred years old. The Church of Sant Pere in the town dates from the 16th Century and it is in the Gothic style. Features include a square bell tower and gargoyles.
