The Puerta de Tierra was the main entrance to the city of Cadiz. Only a few sections of the walls remain. The gate was built in the 18th Century and it marks the boundary of the old and new town. You can climb to the top of the tower, and there is an audio-visual display about the city`s history, whilst the Sala Virtual recreates 18th Century Cadiz.
