Raco de Mar Beach is over half a mile long and it is composed of fine white sand. This is a quiet beach with dunes covered by vegetation. It is also a Blue Flag beach and it has a lifeguard and a Red Cross point. There is a seafront promenade and access for those with reduced mobility. Other facilities include a children`s playground and there are opportunities for water sports such as sailing and windsurfing.
