This lovely market building is in the Art Deco eclectic style and is located on a site that used to hold a weekly market. Built in 1929 and designed by an architect from Bermeo, this large building can hold over 400 stalls on three floors. In 1983 it was flooded and since then it has been refurbished and modernised. Fruit, vegetables, fish and other fresh foods are sold here. It is best to visit in the mornings.
