The San Francisico Convent was designed by Andre De Vandelviro and took one hundred years to build. This once fine building was damaged by an earthquake in the 18th Century and Napoleon`s troops used it as a stable. It was restored in the late 20th Century and is now a congress centre. It is still possible to see the former transept and aspes with their Renaissance decorations.	Click here for a larger, interactive map
