The Gothic Church of Santa Maria retains the ablutions patio of the mosque which once stood on the site of the present church. Inside the building are three naves and several chapels. The magnificent altarpiece is from the 16th Century and illustrates scenes from the life of Christ. The museum is accessed through the orange tree patio and there are several rooms with religious works produced betwen the 14th and 19th Centuries. These include over one hundred silver pieces as well as sculptures and paintings.
