Santuari de Sant Salvador occupies a hilltop where there was once a Moorish fortress and it can be reached by an avenue of cypress trees from the 13th Century Church of Transfiguracio del Senyor. The Moorish fort was destroyed during the Reconquest of the island and it was replaced by a shrine with an image of the Virgin Mary. The present building dates from the 19th Century and houses several paintings, including one of Sant Antoni. From the courtyard are splendid views of the town.
