Selva de Mar is a quiet, medieval village set in the foothills of the Pyrennes. Here you will find old watchtowers that have been made into houses and a labyrinth of narrow alleyways. Small stone bridges span the river that goes through the village. A short signposted walk leads you through vineyards to a ruined watermill and the 12th Century Church of Sant Sebastian. From here the energetic can follow a waymarked path to the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes.
