Tiana is a small, peaceful village which stands inland in a sheltered valley. The late Gothic Church of Mare de Deu de l` Alegri has a square bell tower and a single nave. Some of the 15th Century buildings, such as the chapterhouse and the cloisters, of the Carthesian community can be visited. Nearby, Roman villas are being excavated. A scenic road crosses the Montalgre Pass to Valles.
