The Town Hall in Bilbao was built in a new kind of Baroque style in 1892 and on its top is a small spire. It was the work of Joaquin de Rucoba who designed other buildings in the city. Nearby is a strange sculpture of rusted iron which was created by Jorge Oteiza in 1958. It is called Ovoide de la Desocupacion de la Esfera.
