The Universidad Antigua is an old university building with a beautiful plateresque facade by Rodrigo de Hontanon. The college was endowed by Cardinal Cisneras in the early 16th Century and his emblem, a swan motif, can be seen in the Patio Mayor. Of special interest is the Parinfoa which is used for ceremonies. It has a plateresque gallery with a glorious, mudejar artesonado ceiling. Guided tours are available.
