The Casa del Chapiz is a Mudejar house built in the 16th Century. It is named after its owner Lorenzo el Chapitz. The house is actually two buildings linked with an arch, and it reflects both Christian and Islamic architectural styles. There are galleries with arcades and ponds. Since the early 20th Century, it has been the home of the School of Arabic Studies.
