The village of Castellfollit de la Roca is a spectacular sight when approached from Besalu. The church and houses stand on the edge of a 200 foot precipice above the River Fluvia. At night it is floodlit. There is a viewing point near the church where you can look over the cliff edge. The village is also known for its sausages and there is a museum devoted to this product.
