Founded in the 15th Century in the Mudejar style, the Church of Saint Giles stands at a high point in the town. Its fine baroque tower was built by Antonio Caballero in the late 18th Century. The church is in the form of a Latin cross, and in one of the chapels is an image of St Michael the Archangel that is over three hundred years old. There is also an 18th Century baroque retable.
