The Church of Saint James is a Site of Cultural Interest and it is considered one of the most interesting buildings in Ecija. It was built in the 15th Century in the Gothic and Mudejar styles. There are also Renaissance and Baroque features, and the huge baroque tower, decorated with ceramic tiles, dates fom 1766. Inside, the naves are in the Mudejar style. Do not miss the Montero family chapel or the image of St James.
