The Church of Sant Miquel has a huge, magnificent Renaissance and Baroque facade. Below the rose window, the archangel Michael stands on the Devil`s head. The church, originally built in 1248, is approached by steep steps. There is a plaque to over 400 people who died in 1844 when a wall collapsed as they were going to church. A market selling fresh produce and local crafts is held in the streets around the church on Sunday mornings.
