The Corral del Carbon began as a Moorish grain storehouse. Built in the 14th Century, it has been declared an Artistic and Historic Monument, and is the only one of its type in Spain. The building was used for trading and storing grain. During the 16th Century, it served as an inn for coal merchants and, later on, it was a theatre. The building has an Islamic facade and a horseshoe arch.
