The Euskal Herria Museum is housed in the beautiful 18th Century Palacio de Montefuerte. The museum displays exhibitions relating to Basque history and culture, including many artefacts. Euskadi is the name of the Basque region and the language, which is unrelated to any other, is known as Euskera. Most road signs in this part of Spain are in Basque as well as Castilian.
