Founded in 1968, the Folk Museum of Asturias covers a large area with several buildings and a salt water pond. The visit starts in the Asturias Pavilion from the 1992 Exposition at Seville where, apart from the reception area and galleries, there is an exhibition about the domestic life of the region in 1800. Other highlights include a country mansion housing a bagpipe museum, a 17th Century aristocrat`s town house, a country cottage and garden, husking mill, cider house, farm buildings and equipment.
