Fornells is a pretty fishing village on the west side of a bay. There are whitewashed houses around the harbour with its boats, and a promenade with palm trees. The restaurants serve fresh seafood. Beside the sea are the castle ruins of the 17th Century Castell Sant Antoni. A promenade leads to the headland where there is a lighthouse and a watchtower, the Torre de Fornells.
