Fort Sant Felip was built at the southern entrance to Mao harbour in the 1550s and it was later strengthened by the British during their occupation. When the Spanish retook Menorca in 1782, the fort was destroyed. During the guided tour you can learn about the history of the fort and the many invasions, and also walk through underground tunnels. From the headland are great views of Mao harbour.
