The Franciscan Convent is also known as The Marroquies after the name of the Marroquies sisters, Luisa and Francisca, who founded the religious community. The buildig dates from the 16th century and contains the nuns` quarters, cloister and garden. There is a fine tower of brick and white stucco. Inside the one naved church are fine retables whilst the high altar has sculptures of the Immaculate Concepcion and Christ.
