Frigiliana Village

Frigiliana, lying a few miles from the coast, is a pretty village with narrow, cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. One of the last battles between the Christians and the Moors was fought here in 1569. It is recorded on ceramic plaques on the houses. For good views of the valley with its orchards and the Mediterranean coast, continue uphill to the mirador where you will find a restaurant.
