Fuengirola Zoo is an animal and visitor friendly zoo with a simulated tropical forest. The animals are not kept in cages but are separated from humans by barriers such as river banks. You can see tigers, lemurs, meerkats and gibbons as well as crocodiles and birds. During July and August the zoo is open until after midnight. Artificial moonlight enables visitors to observe nocturnal species. The zoo also has a children`s play area and there are restaurants.
