The Archaeological Museum in Gandia is located in the medieval St Marc Hospital which was founded by the Duke Alfons el Vell as a charity institution. It was first remodelled in the 16th Century, and rooms were arranged around a central patio. The museum has a permanent exhibition showing different aspects of the prehistoric era from the paleolithic period to the neolithic.
