The Granada Archaeological Museum is housed in the Casa de Castril, a Renaissance mansion with a plateresque doorway. Objects on display range from prehistoric to the late 15th Century. Exhibits include prehistoric finds from the Cave Cariguela de Pinair and the Cave of the Bats at Albunol. In the collection are Egyptian amulets and alabaster vases, Roman and Moorish decorative art and coins.
