Huerta de San Vicente is where Granada`s famous poet and playwright Federico Garcia Lorca spent his summers. In rooms overlooking the Alhambra he wrote some of his most famous works, including The Blood Wedding. The house is now a museum containing the poet`s writing desk and other furniture. There are also some of his drawings and other objects. Lorca died in 1936 during the Civil War. The museum is located near the Parque Federico Garcia Lorca.
