The Museo de l`Emporda, founded in the late 19th Century, houses a collection of Greek, Roman and Iberian artefacts found in the area. These include Greek ceramics, glass and column capitals from the Monestir de Sant Pere de Rodes. There is also a collection of mainly 19th and 20th Century Catalan and Spanish art. On display are Mediterranean scenes by Sorolla, works by Dali, and paintings by Joan Miro and Antoni Tapies.
