The Museo Naval de Ferrol is housed in the former San Campio prison which is located inside the Military Arsenal. This museum holds an interesting collection of models, with maps, of ships that have sunk as well as the remains of shipwrecks. There are also sails, weapons and various items used by sailors. A panel gives the names of all the ships built in the local boatyards from the mid 18th Century onwards.
