Built in the 15th Century in the Albaicin quarter, the Palace of Dar al-Horra was the last residence of the Moorish King Boabi`s mother. The mansion is in the Nasrid style and is on two levels with a tower, a courtyard, gardens and a pond. It has a Christian chapel which was built by the Catholic monarchs after they retook Granada. It was the home of Queen Isabel. The palace is now a Monument of Cultural Interest.
