The Fundacio Rafael Alberti is located in the house where the 20th Century poet lived as a child. He is remembered as the poet of the sea. Rafael Alberti was a communist and is most well known for is autobiography La Arboleta Perdida. He went into exile after the end of the civil war until Franco died in 1975. The museum has a permanent exhibition of his work and personal objects.
