The Railway Museum of Asturias is located at the old North Station. In the 19th Century station house are the museum`s offices and halls. There is a large collection of steam engines and small railway artefacts such as whistles, signals, telephones and tickets. The museum is the research centre for the history of the railway network in the Asturias region, and it houses many documents and a library. The museum is divided into various themes, and visitors can travel in a steam train.
