The Romanesque church of San Pedro was built in the 12th Century, and it is now a designated National Monument. On the main front is a monogram of Christ. In the beautiful cloister are Romanesque capitals which, although restored, are a fine example of Aragon Romanesque sculpture. The side chapel of St Bartholomew is the royal burial place of two kings of Aragon, and here lie the tombs of Alfonso 1 and Ramiro 11.
