The Santuari de Sant Salvador, an old hermitage, is a popular place of pilgrimage. It is located at 1,670 feet above sea level on the highest point of the Serra de Llevant. From here are great views of the island. The hermitage is recognised by its tall, stone cross and an even higher column with a statue of Christ. The monks left here in 1992 but the church with its alabaster retable and side chapel can be visited.
