The Parc Natural de l`Albera is a beautiful area situated inland between Figueres and the French border. The huge variety of wildlife includes wild boar, tortoise and golden eagle. At the visitor centre are displays covering the history of the area as well as the flora and fauna. Outside Espolla are four thousand year old dolmens. There are many walking routes in the area.
