Ses Salines is a nature reserve in northern Formentera and it includes the flat, marshy land between Es Pujols and La Savina. The area is well known for its wildlife and many species of waders, including the black-winged stilt, may be seen. Flamingos breed here. The nature reserve comprises not only the marshland but also the salt lagoons and the Punta de sa Pedera headland.
