Eibar once produced thousands of arms for local aristocrats as well as leaders in other parts of the world. The town has been associated with the gunsmith industry since the 14th Century and the museum is housed in the former gunshot factory known as Agirre y Aranzabad. It is now a cultural centre and the museum is on the fifth floor. Here you can see a collection of over five hundred pieces of arms from different parts of the world.
