Fornells is a small, fishing villge with white washed houses around a harbour. It was founded to defend the north coast from pirates and invaders. In the 17th Century a castle, now in ruins, was built in the village beside the sea. The watchtower, Torre de Fornelles, stands on the headland beyond the village. It is quite easy to reach and you can climb to the top of the tower and enjoy splendid views of the coast.
