The Torture Museum is an intriguing museum where you can see instruments used for humiliating, torturing and executing people from medieval times up to the 20th Century. The collection is from all over Europe and, as you can imagine, many items are extremely barbaric. These include implements for impaling as well as decapitating people. One item on display is a barrel in which the miscreant was placed so that others could throw their refuse and slops over him.
